Sidebar and Header Links Configuration
Go to Pika Configuration and Library Systems from the left sidebar.
Click the Library Id number, or the Edit link to gain access to the Library Systems page.
The Sidebar Links configuration table is located toward the bottom of the page.
Sidebar Links
Sidebar Links will display in the sidebar of your Pika instance. Depending on which settings your library uses, they may display at all times or, when using the Sidebar Menu option, Sidebar Links will display when the sidebar menu is expanded.

Configuring Sidebar Links
Click the Add New to add a sidebar or a new sidebar link.
The new entry will show up blank.
Category
The Category field allows you to group links within a single, shared menu. When links share the same Category, they will be combined into an expandable menu.
If a link does not have information in the Category field, the link will display as a standalone button.
Link Text
The Link Text is the text you supply for the link for display.
URL
The URL field is where the access link URL is entered.
To change the order of the links, you can drag and drop them using the arrows.
HTML Contents
Enter basic HTML code in the HTML Contents field to style standalone link buttons.
Show in Account/Help/Expanded options
The Show in Account, Show in Help and Show Expanded options control where and how the sidebar links display.
If the Show in Account option is enabled, the links will display in the My Account section of a patron’s account, even if they are displayed in the Show in Help section.
If the Show in Help option is enabled the links will display in the Help section (which may be retitled for your site) of the Sidebar Menu if the Display Sidebar Menu option is also toggled on. If your library is not using the Display Sidebar Menu option, the links will display regardless of this option being enabled or disabled.
The Show in Help option is toggled on by default when adding new links and should usually be enabled for most links.
The Show Expanded option forces a link category menu to be expanded by default, when the links share a common category.
Advanced HTML editor for HTML Contents
The advanced editor page allows you to customize HTML Contents for links. For more information about using the HTML editor in Pika, please reference the HTML Text Editor documentation.
Clicking on the edit pencil icon located under Actions will open the advanced editor page.
The following html tags allowed in the advanced editor:

Here is an example of a library using the HTML Contents in their Sidebar.
Header Links
Marmot recommends against using the Header Links. Header Links commonly present issues when using Pika on a mobile device.
Header Links are similar to sidebar links in functionality but more limited options. Header Links
