53 | HOME LIBR | The code for the patron's home library. |
54 | PMESSAGE | A code corresponding to a library-defined patron message. A value in this field causes the system to display the corresponding message text when the patron attempts to check out, renew, or hold an item. Do not remove the "NO MESSAGE" value from the table of valid codes and definitions; you cannot remove messages if you delete the "NO MESSAGE" value. |
55 | HLODUES (Highest Overdues) | The highest level of overdue notice (1 = first overdue, 2 = second overdue, etc.) among all overdue notices recently sent to the patron. The Highest Level Odue element specifies the maximum number of notices a patron can receive before the patron is blocked. This field is for system use and is not a real-time indicator of a patron's overdue levels. The number increases when a patron receives an overdue notice, but it does not decrease when overdue items are returned. Instead, when a patron attempts to perform a transaction (such as checking out an item or placing a hold), the system checks the value of this field against the # OVERDUE field in each item checked out to the patron. If the value in the HLODUES field does not match the highest value in the # OVERDUE field, the system resets the HLODUES field. |
56 | MBLOCK | Manual patron block. A value in this field prevents the patron from checking out items. The values of this field represent various common reasons a patron might be blocked. Do not remove the "NO BLOCK" code; you cannot unblock patrons if you delete the "NO BLOCK" code. |
95 | CL RTRND (Claims Returned) | Count of the number of items the patron has "claimed returned." |
96 | MONEY OWED | The amount of money the patron owes in fines and charges. |
102 | CUR ITEMA (Current Item) | Total number of items the patron currently has checked out from library-defined categories A, B, C, and D. Libraries can restrict the number of items a patron is allowed to check out from one of four library-defined categories. |

263 | LANG PREF | Preferred language for notices. Lang Pref (Language Preference) At multilingual sites, the Preferred Patron Language feature enables you to assign a preferred language in the LANG PREF field of the patron record. You can then generate certain types of circulation notices in a patron's preferred language. This works in conjunction with the Notice Preference. If your Spanish-speaking patrons would prefer to have their email notices in Spanish instead of English, you will need to work with Marmot’s User Services Manager to set up these notices. Libraries must be able to translate their notice information from English to Spanish. |
