Identify a Mapped Drive on a Windows Device

These instructions will show you were go to see what server files you have access to.

 Instructions

  • Open File Explorer (the file folder on your taskbar).

  • Look at the menu along the left side of file Explorer and locate “This PC”.

    • Click on This PC to see the

    • Your menu might look something like this:

    • This user has access to “quickbooksfiles (\\accounting) (U:)”

  • A desktop-short cut can be created by clicking on the QuickBooks file and dragging it to the desktop
