Set Homepage for Chrome Browser

You may want to set you Chrome Browser to open to a specific website. This article will walk you through the process.

  • Open Chrome and click on the ellipses in the upper right hand corner

  • Select Settings from the list

A drop-down will appear after clicking on the ellipses. in the dropdown, towards the bottom, is Settings
  • Once the Settings screen is open, select On startup from the left-hand side of the screen

On startup is the ninth option in the list, above the first divider line
  • Select Open a specific page or set of pages from the list and click on the Add a new page link

Open a specific page or set of pages is the last option in the list. Click on the radial to the left of the words. Add a new page link is right below the Open a specific page or set of pages option.
  • In the Add a new page popup, enter the URL of the website you want to see when you open Chrome and click the Add button

Site URL field can be filled with the desired web page you would like to open when opening Chrome.
  • Close out of Chrome and reopen

  • Chrome should now open to the website entered in the Site URL field on the Add a new page popup
