Patron Display for the Check Out (Circulation Desk) Function (Sierra)
The options in the Patron Display menu determine the information that Sierra displays for patron records. The Brief display, Brief display w/address, and Custom display determine the patron information that is displayed when the patron’s barcode is scanned, or the patron's name is entered into the Check Out (Circulation Desk) function.

Unless you have the Admin|Options setting for your Sierra login, you will have to contact Marmot to make any patron display changes to logins for your library.
Brief Display
Displays the patron records showing PATRN NAME, P BARCODE, EXP DATE, BIRTH DATE, PTYPE, PCODE4, TELEPHONE, and EMAIL ADDRESS fields in a two-column format.
Brief Display w/Address
Displays the patron records showing PATRN NAME, P BARCODE, EXP DATE, BIRTH DATE, PTYPE, EMAIL ADDRESS, and ADDRESS fields in a two-column format.
Custom Display
Displays the patron record fields specified in the Custom Display Settings list in a single-column format.
The number of columns used in each display is not configurable (The Custom Display option always displays the specified record fields in a single column). This display has a scroll bar to view all the patron display fields.
The Custom Display Settings have different choices to display for each login. You can even determine the order that each choice will display. Anyone with the Sierra Admin|Options setting can make changes for their login; others will need to contact Marmot to make the change.
