Kiosk Issues (X11 Envisionware)
Device will not accept bills
This issue occurs when the coin tubes are to low to dispense change or have been reset but a power issue or accidental reset of the tubes. If this happens, change will need to be emptied/dispensed and reloaded.
Dispense Change
Open the Kiosk door with the key and look for the following control panel in the upper right hand corner as well as the screen in the back of the unit.
Press and hold the center button on the control panel until it reads Entering Service Modes and press the right button.
Press the upper and lower buttons to navigate to Meters. Then press the right button
Press the up and down buttons again and find Dispense. Then press the right button.
Use the up and down buttons to see if there are coins registering in the tubes. Beside Dispense is the type of change and Coin Quantity is how many coins it registers. If the counts are low you will need to load change (please select load change from the upper menu).
If you see a low number but money in the tubes, you will need to dispensed the coins by holding down the center button until all the coins have been dispensed. If the coin tubes and counts look correct skip the next step and call Marmot.
After the coins have been dispensed, Press the reset button twice and the subsystem will restart.
Load change
To load change. Press and hold the center button on the control panel until you get to the Entering Service Modes page. Then press the right button
Use the upper and lower buttons to find Meters. Then press the right button
Use the upper and lower buttons to find Load Change. Then press the right button.
You will see a total and a tube section. The total is the amount of change in all the tubes. The tube section tells you what type of coin and how many are registering in the tubes.
Start adding money to the Coins slot in the front of the machine. When the coins are deposited, you should see the numbers go up. It is not necessary to load change in order 5,10,25. As you deposit money it will change from tube to tube until all of the change is loaded.
Once finished, Press the reset button twice. This will reset the subsystem and the unit is ready for use. Test by sending a .15 print job and use a dollar bill to pay for it. It should accept the bill and return the correct amount of change. If not, please call Marmot and open a ticket.
