How to share entities and collections

After a collection folder has been created for your library, the entities need to be organized and shared by relating these entities to this collection in Islandora.

1. Login to your account in Islandora.

2. Search for and find the entity.

3. Click to open the entity that you want to share with the collection.

   Open

   

4. Click on the Manage tab.

   Open

   

5. This will open up into the Overview tab.  The Parent Collections will be listed for this entity.

   Open

   

6. Click the Share this Object with another collection link.

   Open

   

7. Type the PID for that collection in the text box under Name. Click the Share Object button.
