OverDrive Cost Per Circ (CPC) Titles
Documentation on how to find Cost Per Circ (CPC) titles in the OverDrive Marketplace.
Currently, sharing any title through the OverDrive Advantage Plus feature will share all owned One Copy/One User (OC/OU) and Metered Access (MA) copies of that title. Simultaneous Use (SU) and Cost Per Circ (CPC) copies of that title are not eligible to be shared. Although CPC titles cannot be shared through Advantage Plus, in Pika they may display as available for checkout to patrons who cannot checkout the CPC titles.
You can do a CPC Advanced search within your main consortium account to find the CPC titles. If you do not remember your main consortium login ID, please contact with our Account Manager. To find the library that purchased the title and a list of the titles, you can run the Checkouts by Branch report.
CPC Advanced search in the OverDrive Marketplace
Go to the Marmot OverDrive Marketplace
Sign in to your non-advantage account
Change the SHOP drop-down list located in the upper left corner to Cost Per Circ.
Either type in the title, author, series, or publisher that you would like to verify or do a blank search. Click on the Advanced search link.
Once the Advanced search has been completed, go down to the Holdings and select “Owned as CPC” from the drop-down menu.
Once the “Owned as CPC” is selected, click on the Search button.
This should bring up the title or a list of titles depending on how you constructed the search. You should see a link for “Own CPC:Yes” on the record. However, when you click on the link it only shows when it was added to the site, and not which library owns it. Note: At this time, CPC titles do not allow you to export them to a cart, or create a worksheet.
