Regan Byrd Anti-Oppression & Allyship Training Series
A commitment to diversity, equity, social justice, and inclusion requires more than one-off webinars or statements of support; it requires deep examination and a search for actionable steps. Marmot is pleased to announce a new training series, free to all member library staff and Marmot staff, regarding allyship and anti-oppression. This 6-part intensive online training series is being led by Regan Byrd, a speaker many of you may know from CAL’s EDSJI conference and Marmot’s MUG keynote address last year. This training series will provide that opportunity for attendees to learn methods they can bring into their daily work, and to help Marmot as a consortium be more deliberate in this area.  Below is a detailed description of each session in the series.
