Hold Pickup Notices (Print Templates)

This documentation explains Hold Pickup Notices and how to customize them with print templates.

Explanation

When a patron has a hold ready for pickup, Hold Pickup Notices are generated and sent to the patron via email or print using the Notices function.

The agency that owns the item.

The date and time the item was checked out.

Item_Checked_Out_Location

The statistics group associated with the login at which the item was checked out.

Item_Code1

An item code.

The ICODE1 fixed-length field in the item record.

Item_Due_Date

The item’s due date.

Item_Edition

The edition information.

Item_Hold_Not_Wanted_After_Date

The specified date after which the hold request will expire.

Item_ID

The ordinal number of this item in the list of items in the notive.

The hold pickup by date, determined by the Time to Pickup element of the applicable loan rule.

The hold pickup location for the held item or title.

The item’s volume number.

Message_Patron

A message to print above the patron’s name and address.
