Send records to Ingram's Ipage service

Ipage is a service from Ingram that keeps a copy of your database so you can see your holdings in their system while you are ordering materials. They need a copy of the database sent on a regular basis.

Extract Records

• Use Create Lists to create a file of the bibliographic records you want to send to Ingram

  • It’s a good idea to use a Saved Search for this, so you always use the same criteria

• Use Data Exchange to export the file to your PC

FTP the file to Ingram

• Ingram uses SFTP, so you have to use an FTP client like FileZilla

  • Open

    

• The host is sftp://ftp.ingramcontent.com

• Get your username and password from Ingram

• Connect to the Ingram server

  • Open

    

     

• Find the file on your machine and upload it with the FTP client

  • Open
