Clarifying display for “Registered at” and
preferred pickup branch

• Registered at doesn’t really matter to patrons

• Preferred pickup branch should crosswalk to “Home Library”

  • Home library label should probably display as Preferred Pickup Location (if possible)

• Patrons should be able to update their preferred pickup branch

In Polaris will Library system will always be 1?

• Is the library level always a single library or can Polaris handle more than one library?

  • Seems there’s some structure to accommodate consortiums

• Library system

• Repurpose scope to reference Library ID for Polaris integrations

API response for INNReach

• InnReach/ILL checkouts

  • Will the FormatDescription of the checkout record always be set to "Interlibrary Loan"?

  • Set up by Clearview as format description for ILL/InnReach

  • No virtual record for INNReach in Polaris

    • Creates an actual MARC record

    • Might be a process to clean up ILL records?

      • Possibly have circ/ILL staff walk us through the processes if we need further information

  • Use API response for ILL records only if marc record doesn’t exist.

OverDrive collection enabled

• Extraction in place and running

• Magazine Issue extraction not yet ran.
