  • Prior to Marmot’s Demo Day, we will gauge interest among the Marmot libraries for the Washington Post, so that the renewal agreement can include other interested libraries with service starting 1/1/24

OCLC

    • Louisville does not use this; will look into whether Louisville can be dropped from contract

    • Boulder conducted a review of OCLC products and found they haven’t paid in the past for WebDewey.

    • Previously wrapped into the overall membership fees of FLC.

  • FLC has a unique arrangement with OCLC for 3 concurrent users per library

  • A small number of existing Marmot libraries either use the 1 user license model or the 2-9 user license model. At least two of those are interested in moving to the FLC 3-user license model.

• 2023

  • FLC renewal was scheduled for August 2023.

  • Being pushed to 1/1/23 in order to bring on the two (or more) Marmot libraries

  • Fees already paid will be prorated against a January-December 2023 bill. 12-month fee for the 3-user license is $388.72/library for 2023.

  • Participating libraries will be billed by Marmot according to percentages approved by directors

  • Will gauge interest in additional Marmot libraries moving to WebDewey beyond those that already have it
