For occasions when you’d like access to certain files granted to someone.  For example, you need access granted to your library’s Quickbooks files, for employee A. Smith.  In this example, on your computer, that’s set up as your U drive.  Here’s how to tell Marmot what A. Smith needs access to:

  • Open File Explorer (the file folder on your taskbar).

  • Look at the menu along the left side of file Explorer and locate “This PC”.

    • If it hasn’t been already, drop down the menu for “This PC” by left-clicking on the small arrow just to the left of it.

    • Your menu might look something like this:

    • “quickbooksfiles (\\accounting) (U:)” is the information Marmot needs.
