Confirm Hoopla Integration

• Clearview staff will test with their own Hoopla accounts

• Ashley updated ID number in test and production, Hoopla checkout from Pika was successful after update

Self-registration barcodes

• Pika returns self-reg barcodes from the API

  • Follows whatever guidelines are set for the self-reg

• Pika will not generate barcodes for Polaris self-reg integrations

Order record handling

• Creation date in 008 handling

  • first 6 characters in the 008

• First detected date in grouper for any missing 008

• Added in the last facet will be more relevant using the creation date from the bib records starting 10.02.24

Sideload review

• Kanopy access URLs

  • Waiting for escalated response from vendor

• Tumblebooks cover art and access URLs

• Freegal cover art

Clearview Covers

• Syndetics returns a generic cover when no match

• Better matching UPCs with leading zeros

• Might be a switch in the Syndetics configuration to not provide generic cover image?

Profile and Self Registration

• Anytime a change is made to the account, we’re receiving emails, but they’re really generic.

Bib extraction

• Testing review in test server

  • Gotcha full index finishing late in the morning (finished around noon) for the test server.
