Before reaching out to your catalog enrichment provider you should take the following troubleshooting steps:
Confirm that the ISBN in the bib record is correct and in the correct field (020$a). Pika queries content providers by the ISBN for most titles. If the ISBN in the record is incorrect or a publisher reused an ISBN, then Pika fetches in the enrichments.
Some records might have several ISBNs which could potentially be used to fetch enrichments – please ensure that all ISBNs on the record are correct relative to the title.
Confirm that the UPC in the bib record is correct and in the correct field (024$a). Removing an incorrect UPC from the record in your catalog may resolve the issue. You can find the UPC on the actual item, so you can verify it with the information in the record.
Confirm that ISBNs are in 020$a fields and UPC codes are in 024$a fields. If ISBNs and UPCs are in incorrect fields, this will sometimes result in incorrect cover art or description.
