These instructions are for freezing or thawing a machine that has Marmot’s installation of Deep Freeze DeepFreeze on it. If changes are to be made on a machine which has DeepFreeze on it, and those changes are something that is not intended to be wiped out the first time the computer reboots, it must be thawed before making those changes. This includes installing or updating software. To protect the data on the computer, and potentially user privacy, the machine MUST then be refrozen before being returned to regular usage.
