Build a List Based On an Existing List

It is possible to create a list that is a subset of an existing list. This can be useful to get a list with only your locations out of a larger list for example.

How to

  • Select an empty List. Click Search Records.

  • Set the record type you want to get.

    • Note: This does not need to be the same record type as the file you are pulling from

  • Choose Review from the pulldown menu

  • Find the target file by number on the pulldown list

  • Add the additional criteria for the subset you want in this new list.

  • Now you get a list of things from the original list that also meet your new criteria
