This article will walk you through removing and/or replacing a video card from a Dell desktop. Please note that not all models are exactly the same, but most will be close enough to use these instructions with only minor modifications. Turn off the computer.
Unplug the power and video cables.

NOTE: If you unplug USB printer cables, such as from a receipt printer, make sure to note which USB port they came out of, and put them back in the same port later. Failure to use the same port will result in needing to call Marmot to get the printer functioning again. |
Using the blue latch and the black out-swelling of the side piece, unlatch and slide the side piece toward the back of the computer, then lift it away. Set it aside for later.
