DPLA Configuration

Go to Pika Configuration and Library Systems from the left sidebar.

Click the Library Id number, or the Edit link to gain access to the Library Systems page.

Include DPLA Content

The Include DPLA content in search results

Here is an example of a search from a library that has DPLA turned on.

option will include objects from the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) catalog in search results, relative to the search term executed by the user. Clicking on DPLA results will redirect users to the content on the source library or archive’s website or catalog.

Example

The user executes a search for the term “surls” in the catalog where the Include DPLA content in search results option is enabled.

DPLA results will display at the bottom of the search results page,

following search results from the catalog and any INN-Reach service, if enabled.

Clicking on the link will direct patrons to the content in the content owner’s repository or catalog.
